  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Maybe you’ll love them, maybe they’ll make you mad. Maybe they’ll make you scratch your head and think. But hopefully, they will be something useful for your ministry. Go ahead and attach your name to these sermons, because they will come out with your flavor and your personality, besides, God gave me these messages, either directly, or through other people by experience, or by their books and material, but you can be sure, that ALL are Bible based.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: I try to gain from all ministers and ministries that I am exposed to, so all things considered, everyone has had a hand in making a difference in my life.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Always my favorites are using my children, and the funny things that happen to us while they are growing up.
  • Family: Married ~ 1991 2 daughters 1 son
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My parents are retired Pastors, yet still ministering regularly by preaching revivals and filling pulpits while other ministers are on vacation. They are 110% in support of our ministry, and are very proud of the way God chooses to use us in God's service.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Well. . . . .let’s just say she’s my best/worst critic. She is honest, and let’s me know when she didn’t get it (the sermon), as well as let’s me know when God really used me strongly.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Don’t try and impress God, He’s already heard what you are going to say. Besides He’s the one that gave you your sermon, anyway!
  • Books that have had an impact: God’s Love Letters ~ The Bible ~ God’s Armorbearer Series ~ God chasers series ~ Any Max Lucado book! ~ John Maxwell’s books ~ The Dream Giver ~ The Prayer of Jabez ~ Secret’s of the Vine ~ How To Make it through a bad day! ~ Wasted on Jesus ~ The Church of Irrisistible Influence
  • Hobbies: computers ~ golf ~ basketball ~ singing and drumming. Studio session recording
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Go for God as hard as you can! He’s so much more than you could ever conceive! He’s so much love, so much kindness, so much gentleness! He’s all I’ve hoped for, and all I’ll EVER NEED!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: During my first pulpit sermon as a Youth Pastor in Mansfield, OH, I accidently used the word ’crap’ in reference to the way that God will get rid of the ’garbage’ in your life if you will let Him, but it came out, "God will get rid of all the ’crap’ in your life!" I then turned around to my pastor and said, "oops! can I say that in the pulpit?" His response. . . . ."You just did."
  • What I want on my tombstone: I’ve Just Gotta Be Me!
