• Experience: Many years behind the pulpit as full time pastor, interim pastor, associate pastor, as well as, itinerant ministry (revivals and so forth).
• Comment to those looking at my sermons: I personally want to thank you for taking the time to stop by and view some of the sermons that I have shared. I pray that God will use them mightly to encourage your heart. If you see something that you can use, them by all means do so if Good gives you the liberty to.
• Family: God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, to whom I have been married to for a little over 33yrs. at the time of this post. God truly knew what I needed when He put my precious wife in my life. Apart from God, she has been my rock, my encourager, my advisor, as well as, my undying supporter during my many years in the ministry. God has also blessed my wife and I with two beautiful children, a daughter (our first) and a son (our second and last).
• Books that have had an impact: I do not have any one book in particular in mind, as I have a fairly decent size library in my office. I truly enjoy all of my books and I have to say that God has used all of the various authors to speak to my heart in a life changing way from time to time. In speaking about books, I will say that most of my books are from the preachers of days gone by. Most of the authors have been gone to be with our Lord for many years. Actually, most have been with the Lord now for 75+ years and some more than 100+ years. Knowing this, I’m sure that you can guess that I am kind of partial to the old writers of days that have long since past. These men of God had depth to what they had to say that is rarely found among the men of our current time. Please don’t misunderstand me and think that Im saying that they’re no men of God with any depth to them today, because there definitely is. However, it’s sad to say that there isn’t nearly as many as there used to be.
• Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, hiking, amateur archaeology and just about anything else that pertains to the great outdoor. I find all the above a great way to recharge my battery from time to time.
