About Terry
  • Education: I have an educational background from many different sources because I served in the Air Force for 12 years. But my primary ministry education came from Bethel Bible College, Trinity Bible College, and Liberty University.
  • Experience: I have been involved in ministry since 1987. I have pastored three churches (including one church plant/revitalization).
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Too many to mention.
  • Family: I am married and we have 6 children. (5 girls and 1 boy) I have been married for 18 years.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They don’t fall to sleep! -- They say that they love every one of them -- but they are my parents!
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: I will let her type this. I believe they are power packed and God uses him mightily!
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach the Word no matter what!
  • Books that have had an impact: The latest would have to be "Revolution" by George Barna. I am definitely a revolutionary.
  • Hobbies: I love to golf, play basketball, softball, and my most favorite hobbies are reading, music (play & sing), photography, and carpentry.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus is the one and only way! He Is Lord! He Is The Almighty!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: During an illustrated sermon that I was doing (while standing in a boat) I almost fell out of the boat to the ground about 4 feet below.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Terry’s Not Here! He’s Gone Home!
