In our text this morning we find the psalmist’s answer to his own question – Thank goodness the writer did not leave it up to us to answer. I wonder how would we respond to this question?

When you are that terribly sick there are two people you are afraid to see and hope don’t walk into your sick room - The Undertaker with a tape measure and The Preacher with a Bible. Hezekiah was not going to recover from this sickness – and wouldn’t you know – in walks the preacher!
