Historia de Patrick's Adulterio

(Translation follows)

PATRICK'S STORY OF ADULTERY

Patrick Means wrote in his book, Men's Secret Wars:

"Nine years ago my world collapsed. I was at a conference of leaders of the Ministry in Central Europe when my supervisor called me at midnight. 'I need you to come to my room immediately, it is important!' he ordered. Over the next 4 hours began the worst nightmare of my life, after I found out he had been cheating on my wife with another woman. This issue took me to the ministry's immediate disaster after 20 years, and finally divorce with my wife and the loss of my family."

This writer fell into adultery and lost everything. But he knew beforehand he was playing with fire when he succumbed to temptation. How do I get there? No one accidentally falls into the sin of adultery, but rather, as in most cases of transgression, there is a slow spiritual neglect or decay, which leads to the completion of this Sin. He acknowledges that at times did not notice and wonder: How I got there?

Why did this writer who was known by all, a minister for more than 20 years, risk everything to the loss of your children, your career and reputation?

God tells us that Joseph was a "just man" because he was "unwilling to put (Mary) to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly." What does that mean? And what does difference can it make to our faith?
