When I was a boy, I would go with my cousin across the pasture to a little creek on my uncle’s farm. Once, while following my oldest cousin we came to the "crick" and were going to cross. Carmin straddled the water and reached down to pick up what I thought was a large rock. It was bumpy, mossy, green, and hard. But when he pulled it out of the water, it had a head, 4 legs, and a tail. It was mean old snapping turtle. The turtle grabbed hold of my cousins shirt sleeve just missing his hand. Rumor had it that a snappin turtle wouldn't let go until it thundered. Sin is like that old turtle. It wont let go.
