Re: Heb 10:20

The word “new” in vs 20 is, in the original language, “freshly slain”. In other words, God sees the shed blood of His Son, the perfect sacrifice, as fresh always. It is as though JUST NOW, Jesus died for us. It is as though JUST NOW He bore the stripes on His back and the thorns on His brow. In the Father’s eyes, it is always as though JUST NOW, the veil was torn. Remember the words of the song that say ‘the blood that Jesus shed for me, ... it will never lose its power’? How could it? It was shed JUST NOW. Freshly slain...Hallelujah!
