A man was type rope walking across Niagara Falls. As he made his first attempt, it seemed like the draft from the falls would pull him down. With some struggle, he got to the other side and returned. A crowd began to gather. He asked: "how many of you believe I can take this wheel barrel across and back?" They replied: "yes." So he started out with the wheel barrel, and with some difficulty he made it over and came back. As the crowd applauded him, he asked: "how many of you believe I can take a man across in this wheel barrel?" The crowd shouted: "yes." He look over the crowd and ask a man standing near: "Sir, come up here and get in the barrel!" The man replied: "No, not me." So many today want to serve God; and even promise to go through difficulties and trials for Him. But when the challenges arrive, or we are asked to demonstrate our faith in obedience; we like this man, refuse to get into the barrel. Faith is one thing. Obedience, is yet another. It was this kind of faith; that permitted the children of Israel, to passed through the Red Sea. True faith will permit us to not only believe; but to get into the barrel.
