SLEEPING IN THE CEMETERY

According to a March, 2005 news report, a tramp in Holland has been found using the cemetery as his sleeping quarters.

The man was charged by police after they caught him a second time sleeping in the graveyard at Nijmegen. The 43-year old had dug out the earth from under a gravestone, and was sleeping inside the hole. He had also gathered other gravestones to make his resting place more sheltered.

He was charged by police with “violating tombs.”

Today we are here to celebrate Jesus, another man who violated tombs.

If you want to shut down Christianity, all you need to do is find Jesus in the tomb where the disciples placed his body.

But when you show up to the graveyard today, you won’t find Jesus sleeping or shoring up his resting place with more headstones. If you come to the tomb today, you won’t find Jesus at all-- because He has rolled away the gravestone. He has risen from the dead just like He said He would.
