The Fastest Shortest Way Isn't Always The Best Way

The sign reads:TURN HERE:
The sign then says, the fastest shortest way is the best way.
But the sign you are reading is wrong.
God’s way is often not the fastest or easiest, but it is always the best.
Often times God is saying to us, "You are not ready" and sends us on a long journey which is neither the fastest or the easiest.
Learn from Exodus here that God is leading us, trust in His direction, have faith He knows best.
Exodus 13:17 ¶ Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, "Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt." 18 So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.
