Not Ordinary

When we describe our kitchen to other people we always talk about new appliances, or new counters, or even our new silverware. But, we never describe the wall color to someone. The reason is simple: it is ordinary. Everyone has it, it’s not worth mentioning, and so we don’t even consider it.
Sometimes, very sadly, we treat Jesus the same way. He has become a routine to us, a regular occurrence, and sometimes … even plain. We need to very careful to ensure He isn’t treated this way. He is the Christ. He is anything by ordinary. He has conquered death and freed us from sin. Celebrate and shout His praise friends … He is EVERYTHING!
Acts 2:24, “But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.”
