"If you're going to be a doubter, be sure to doubt your doubts as well as your beliefs," says Dallas Willard.

Part of Willard's genius is his ability to present a complex argument with great clarity and good humor. In this video interview with John Ortberg, Willard tackles the issue of doubt with great wit.

Dallas Willard is a professor in the School of Philosophy at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He has taught at USC since 1965, where he was director of the School of Philosophy from 1982-1985. He also lectures and publishes in religion. His most recent book, Knowing Christ Today, was published in May 2009.

The Biblical antidote to the issue of doubt is personal knowledge of God as promised in the terms of the "new covenant" (Jer. 31: 31-34) and "sealed" in Christ's death on the cross (Matt. 26: 26-29; 27: 50-56)

Thank you.
