Run away from him fast. All he tells us is to do do do things. He's all Law and no Grace.

Did he mention the Lord Jesus?

John Miller, how do you know he doesn't mention Jesus before or after the clip. Don't judge an entire message based on an eight-minute clip.

Rather than hurling generalized criticisms at Rick Warren, why not rather engage the content of the clip and make substantive comments that will actually contribute to the conversation.

Here are the Biblical based principles I gleamed from this video: 1. Discipleship costs something. 2. Depend on the Lord, give Him my worries. 3. Always follow the guidance of God, Keep the Sabbath (no matter what our culture thinks, work! Work! WORK!) 4. People come first starting with my family. 5. God has made me unique, my energy level is different than others energy level and I need to use my energy to serve Him. Practical advice. Thanks Rick.

I heard the mention of Sabbath and sinning as a result if it is not kept. Apparently Rick referring that one must take a rest day after 6 days of work. So please elaborate whether Sabbath is Saturday free from all works and go to church or something else like the Jews are observing. His talk is Ok except the above clarification that I require thank you..

I heard the mention of Sabbath. I need some clarification since not observing is sinning. Is Rick referred this to be as the Sabbath kept by the Jews? I hope he is using this to encourage the taking of one day rest after 6 days' work and not Sabbath the Jews are observing. Thank you for your talk on healthy living and Church.

Thanks Rick, Pai Yong Soo, the Sabbath wasn't made for the Jews alone, for if it was then all the other commandments was too. Rick is saying to have time out with your family and not to get too glue to our ministry that we will burn ourselves out. There is enough evidence that can prove God's theory in which Rick is sharing about a Sabbath, a day of rest. Both historically and biblically they agree with each other. It is a God given commandment. If we think its for the Jews alone then we mine as well call the whole 10 commandments a Jew thing. Don't kill, don't steal, don't commit adultery etc..was for the Jews alone. That means we just go on killing, stealing etc...but we don't do that at all, we honour the others and ignore the Sabbath and call it a Jews thing. However, I believe that a person must love the Lord their God with all their heart, mind and soul and love their neighbour as themselves, and by loving the Lord their God he/she will do what Jesus wants them to do. Remember that keeping the commandments does not save you, JESUS DOES!!And because we love Jesus we honour His commandments. Just like been a child, we don't do what our mom or dad says because we have too in some case, we do it because we love them. But often we as human don't listen to our moms and dads. Is like our Christian journey, God has set out guide lines for us to follow. Its our choice to follow or not, but there will always be consequences. Rick is sharing a time out, a break, a time to just you and your family and call that a sabbath so all your everyday things that you do each day is left outside your little time out with your precious family. God bless
