A Parable | Workers In The Vineyard

There is an ancient context in which the workers in the vineyard parable is given. However, in our modern context where we are not dealing with Jews and Gentiles, it can be applied to our much broader "Gentile" audience. Does your church have a struggle between two groups like the "All-Star" Christians and the "JV Christians?" Are there "holier-than-thou" Christians in your congregation who look down on those below them on some theological ladder? This could be a great sermon collection to get at the heart issues which confront us with the reality that Christ came to save sinners. This includes both "us" and "them."
