While talking to one of the little ones that came forward during children's hour, I was trying to determine if they were old enough for Vacation Bible School (they were four).
So I said, "You are four now, when will you be five?"
He looked up with complete confidence and seemed amazed I would even ask, responding, "On my birthday!"
So many applications for this little pearl of wisdom, how often we want to measure and quantify, when God only asks us for the obvious -

As children, we're taught the rhyme "sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me". This messages shows us that this is really a lie from the throne room of Satan.
