God’s manual for living
Psalm 119: 11
Last year we finally traded vans. We drive one until it falls apart in the road. Our van would no longer go in reverse, and it would have been too expensive to replace the transmission. The new one didn’t have the owner’s manual, but a friend found me one, and I placed it in the van. Tomorrow I am going to take it out and read it. You understand that tomorrow never comes. Listen, I am never going to get the best service out of our new van until I read the manual. I can give you all kinds of excuses such as I just have not had the time or other things have taken priority, etc.
The Bible is the Christian manual for life. We are not going to have the abundant life that Jesus promised (John 10:10) until we start operating our Christian Living by the Bible. (God’s owner’s manual)
We need to stop making excuses and get into our Bibles. They are God’s instructions on how to live life to its fullest.
