Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

WE NEED A GREATER REVELATION OF WHO JESUS IS. DEEPER, DEEPER --- MORE, MORE ABOUT JESUS. WE CAN FIND THE GREATER THAN…

My Mom wanted us to learn how to swim. But she dared us to get near the water until we learned to swim? That does not make sense to me. We lived in Oliver Springs and we caught the bus to Oak Ridge where there was an olympic size public pool. I was so afraid of the water. Don’t splash me! After several days we were there with my feet in the water. A mom took a little boys diaper off and put swimming trunks on him. She threw him in the water and he swam out to the deck in the deep water.

I was so ashamed of myself and the fear of the water. I started praying and confessing my sins just in case I drown that day. I was in the 7th grade and I feared the water and God. I stepped back, and back until I was 15 feet from the water and I started running and jumped into the water. It was ankle deep, I severely scraped my face and chest on the concrete bottom. The lifeguards blew their whistles and made everyone get out of the water and they took me to the first aid stand and painted me red with mercurochrome. The life guard told me no digging in the kidding pool. I was so ashamed. IT APPEARS YOU CAN’T SWIM IN ANKLE DEEP WATER.

EZEKIEL HAD A LESSON ABOUT GOING DEEPER AND DEEPER IN THE LIVING WATER… near the altar was ankle deep water, we are talking more than swimming, more about SPIRITUAL DEPTH. Near the altar was the comfort zone of ANKLE DEEP safety. BUT EZEKIEL KNEW THERE WAS MORE DEPTH TO THE PLAN OF GOD.
