In The Wake Of War Torn Streets And Suicide ...

In the wake of war torn streets and suicide bombings, strengthened by a grateful heart,one brave Iraqi official stands tall and puts a price on his sufferings. Due to the brutal assassination of the former pro-American mayor, Ali Fadel gladly stepped in as Baghdad’s new leading official. Mr. Fadel is far from ignorant of the dangers of his position. However, he remains openly pro-American and even has a plan to erect a statue of George W. Bush in the middle of the city.
As you can imagine, this openly grateful response is bringing on quite an onslaught of opposition. When asked about this and the numerous death threats made by his enemies and insurgents, he responded this way:
“My life is cheap. Everything is cheap for my country.”
The mayor adds: “We have a lot of work and we are especially grateful to the soldiers of the U.S.A. for freeing our country or tyranny.”
In light of what Christ did for me, my afflictions and sufferings are cheap in comparison. Definitely worth my freeing from tyranny.
