Because One Teen Took Action

BECAUSE ONE TEEN TOOK ACTION
There was a youth group where the teenagers were challenged to try to reach someone in their school for Christ. Everyone blew it off. Except for one guy. He felt compelled to take action. So he did. He knew who he wanted to see come to Christ. It wasn’t exactly someone from his circle of influence. It was the captain of the football team. The kind of guy who didn’t really have time for this kid. The kind of guy who would make fun of and persecute a guy because of his speech impediment. And this youth group guy had a severe speech impediment.
But he kept praying for the football player, and then he started approaching him and offering him gospel tracts. And the guys speech was almost unintelligible and it seemed like he maybe mentally challenged - but the football player would brush him off and the guy would keep coming back and the football player was becoming more and more agitated and finally one day when he was offered a tract he just lost it and he wrestled the kid to the ground and what pounding him with both fists and within moments he broke down and wept and invited Christ into his life.
He became a Christian - because one follower of Jesus took this command to heart - to love your enemies and bless those who persecute you.
