THE WEIGHT OF GLORY IN A HUMAN SOUL

Truth: Christ and the cross unify the church when they are kept the priority of the church.

In his great message given at Oxford University Church in 1941, C.S. Lewis spoke about the weight of glory within each human soul. "There are no ordinary people," said Lewis. "You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilisations--these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub, and exploit."
