CHRIST WITH NO HANDS
During World War II, a church building in Strasburg was destroyed. After the bombing, the members surveyed the area to see what damage was done. They were pleased that a statue of Christ with outstretched hands was still standing… because it had been sculpted centuries
**Christ is **
He is our God
We should worship him
He should be our icon
He should be the one we weep for not man
We should buy his book
Listen to his music
Come from far and wide to worship him
We need to praise God not man
The way of life not death
With us in spirit and truth

"Brothers, you are Christ to the world. Christ has no hands but your hands to touch and bless and heal, no feet but your feet to lead men in the path of truth, no arms but your arms to gather the scattered, no tongue but your tongues

A middle-aged farmer wanted to be a preacher for years, but wasn't sure if it was God's will. One day, while he was working in the field, he decided to rest under a tree. As he looked up into the sky he saw that the clouds seemed to form into the letters P and C. As he thought

Crucified With Christ
"The Christian's Passion"
Jesus said, "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me" (Luke 9:23). We have just passed Easter--celebrating what Christ did for us on Calvary and the victory He won over sin and death.

CHRIST WAS LOVE
I read a story that I thought was a perfect illustration as to what the perfect gift looks like at Christmas. It centered on a school Christmas pageant. Of course there was nothing there to make it religious. Only snowmen, reindeer and the like.
And so the kindergarten class
AIKIDO FOR CHRIST
The lessons and teaching of the Holy Spirit came each day and through various ways. When we were doing a tent revival on Penn and Plymouth, the Holy Spirit taught me a lesson about dying to myself and letting go of my natural abilities like strength and fighting to resolve
THE BEAUTY OF CHRIST
Just as we are attracted to the loveliness of a sunset, of the Grand Canyon, of the intricate order of a mariposa leaf or esperanza blossom, we are awed by the deeds of power in the Old Testament and New. But we are also attracted by the beauty of the words of Christ, words

THE UNIQUE CHRIST
His birth was contrary to the laws of life. His death was contrary to the laws of death.
He had no cornfields or fisheries but He could spread a table for five thousand and have bread and fish to spare. He walked on no beautiful carpets or velvet rugs, but He walked on the

FOCUS ON CHRIST
This bit of strange news was released by the Associated Press this past week:

CHRIST IN ONE
What is a Christian? In the LETTER TO DIOGNETUS, which dates back to the second century A.D., an anonymous writer describes a strange people who are in the world but not of the world.

CHRIST IN ME
A preacher friend of mine named Mike told of his conversion to Christ. He told me his family was known throughout the community as the worst examples of humanity. The parents were irresponsible. The kids were troublemakers. They lived like animals, even eating food out of

FOCUS ON CHRIST
The healthiest people do not think about their health; the weak induce disease by morbid introspection. If you begin to count your heartbeats, you will disturb the rhythmic action of the heart. If you continually imagine a pain anywhere, you will produce it. And there are some
NAPOLEON ON CHRIST
Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor Napoleon I of France (1769-1821), was one of the greatest military commanders of all time. He conquered the larger part of Europe and did much to modernize the nations he ruled. What did Napoleon say about Jesus?

THE MARTYRS FOR CHRIST
James the son of Zebedee was beheaded in Jerusalem, the first of the apostles to die, during the Easter season in about the year A.D. 44.
Matthew was slain with the sword in a city in Ethiopia.
Mark was dragged through the streets of Alexandria until he expired.
THE BRIDE OF CHRIST
When I was a janitor at O.B.C. there were two or three times I had the opportunity to clean the floors in the girls dorms. One thing that astounded me as I went from room to room was the large pin-up pictures and posters of brides on the walls. Some of these girls had

BOUND TO CHRIST

They had gone only a little
