"On Being A Daddy" James Tippins

My 3.5 year old daughter was used to me being home all the time. Being a business consultant in a home office was a luxury for my family. After a few years of part time ministry, I was called to serve as an excutive pastor at a church. This was a great time to be answering the call of God and we uprooted and moved about 100 miles from home to serve this new church.

After a few months of NOT being at home all the time, my 3.5 year old daughter Cady was asking some pretty tough questions: She was asking why I was a pastor and why we had to move and through a lengthy battery of answers she finally asked, "Why doesn’t God want you to be a daddy anymore?"
