Andrew was a grown man, but had some real trouble adjusting to the adult world. He had a pleasant simplicity that many mistakened for a slowness of mind.

One day he came to me upset because his bike had been stolen for the second time. I told him about the time someone had stolen my favorite Bible from my car. When I had gotten angry, my wife had reminded me that it was God’s Bible and if he had decided someone else needed it more than I did, I shouldn’t complain.

Andrew listened but didn’t seem convinced.

A few days later, Andrew spotted his bike being enjoyed by a very young boy in his neighborhood. The rear tire had flattened and was wobbling loose. Andrew called him over and repaired the bike tire. Then he told the boy that the bike was his. The boy half in tears told Andrew that he had paid quite a bit of his savings for it.
