Fewer Teens Are Engaging In Sexual Activity. According to a new National Center for Health Statistics report, teen girls, age 15 to 17, 38% had engaged in sexual intercourse in ‘95, vs. 30% in ‘02. Among boys that age, the sexual activity dropped from 43% to 31% in the same time period. The study also reported that those engaging in sexual activity today are more likely to use contraceptives.
