In a recent Cheerios poll, 76% of kids 6 to 14 said their mom gives them the best advice. 46% said they always thank their mom for help, but 85% say they believe they should thank her more than they do. The survey also found that the top three characteristics of a great mom are being supportive (74%), understanding (73%) and inspiring (34%). (PWB 5/9/03)
