You may have seen news stories this week about President Bush’s pick to be Surgeon General, a man from Arizona named Richard Carmona. He has been a green beret, a trauma surgeon, a part-time policeman and SWAT team member. One of the exploits he is known for is an incident that happened 2 1/2 years ago.
