I have a friend who had an accident and now lives in constant pain. I ring him up occasionally and seek to encourage him. He loves God but is totally incapacitated. What do you say? How can you provide them with a window of hope?
Job expresses his frustration to his friend for his insensitivity to his pain. Job thought that God was causing his pain. Job 6:4 (NLT) says, "For the Almighty has struck me down with his arrows. Their poison infects my spirit. God’s terrors are lined up against me." It seems to me God gets a lot of blame for what Satan does. Everytime a disaster happens people start blaming God. Even Job can’t see the spiritual battle that is going on.
