MAKE THE FIRST MOVE
Many years ago I was preaching in a little mountain church in a close community. There was a division between two men in the church over a cow. Their families had been at odds, and they had brought the argument into the church. One of the men bought a cow and the other man found it dead and had to bury it without knowing who it belong to.
The church was dead spiritually and was falling deeper in discouragement. The two wives of the opposing men came to the altar hand in hand and began praying for their husbands and family. One step by a broken hearted wife and mother was all it took. The husbands, children, and even the divided church repented when bitterness was replaced with forgiveness.
Make the first move and watch God make all the other moves.
