3. Wail Now Or Wail Then

Why would people be unhappy to see Jesus? He taught love for all people, forgiveness of enemies, kindness, gentleness, and meekness. He suffered and submitted himself to punishment. There may be two reasons, and probably many more.
Look! He is coming with the clouds, and all eyes will see him, even those who pierced Him, and will all the tribes of the earth wail because of him. Faithfulness to the Word of God truly results in blessings beyond all we would ask or think, but often results in the opposite of comfort and ease and temporal happiness.

5. Where Is God? Where Are You?

John’s first glimpse of Jesus in this Revelation is extraordinary and strange. I’d like to focus on instead is where Jesus is. Jesus is in the midst of the Church and the Church is in the palm of His hand.

Jesus doesn't promise He'll deliver us from our stresses (Tribulation), He does, however, promise to use our suffering for good, and offers an eternal weight of glory in return for our sacrifice.
