Hard to believe a little cardboard and packing tape could accomplish so much, isn't it? Actually, it's the packing peanuts. Styrofoam is like kryptonite! You take God off His throne, out of His rightful place, and neatly pack Him into a box.

2. High, Holy, & Lifted Up

4. God Is In Control

To believe that God is in control is huge (especially for us 'control freaks'). It takes a lot of faith and even more surrender, but when taken by faith it opens up a world of peace and hope.
I must admit that at the moment I write this, my faith in God's sovereignty is being tested so severely, I struggle to finish the first paragraph.* I wish I could say the great truth of God's sovereignty was a bedrock of my life - but I confess to have great trouble accepting it - much less ...read more

5. The Lord Is Merciful

In our day of broken promises, dirty politics, corporate mergers, made-to-be-broken sports contracts, meaningless marital vows we don't see much real faithfulness. How's this for faithfulness? Luke 16:17

This life is not about me; it's all about Him! God wants the glory and will receive the glory. He is a jealous God and will not share that glory with anyone or anything else. This kicks against me slightly - because I feel that desire for glory too, yet
