Jesus is the door or the gate to heaven. It is only through Him that we are able to find eternal life and a relationship with Abba Father. There is no other gateway into eternity than this doorway.

Jesus makes it clear in our text that He is the only way into Heaven, He is the path to truth which then leads to eternal life. Without His path, His truth we could never discover Eternal life.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd because he laid down his life to save the sheep. He led and leads the sheep to life not to slaughter. He guards and protects His sheep because He loves them.

Jesus said He is the vine and He is the one that gives life and He is the one that enables a vine to produce fruit. Without Him we can do nothing so it is imperative that we stay connected to the true vine.
