In 5 sentences, John gives us a wonderful picture of who Jesus is and what He came to do. He came with a message of hope, from the place where hope is eternal, so that we may know His Father and the love that is provided free if we will accept it.

The power of God, when displayed, can cause the deepest doubt to erase. It can bring to life even the most bitter of hearts; cause faith to be birthed. When Lazarus was raised, how do you think it grew the Disciples faith? How about yours?

Jesus has come to judge and offer healing (forgiveness) to all who will accept it. But, do we assess ourselves by our own self-righteousness that we consider ourselves above needing what Jesus offers? A blind man didn't, and now, he can see!
