The good hand of our God was upon Nehemiah. God had put in his heart to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. And God helped him to overcome many obstacles. But in order for God to move obstacles in our life, we must be able to take the first step.

Just as Nehemiah was giving the call to build the walls of Jerusalem, each of you also have a calling. But know that it is easier to quit than to commit. Do not listen to the words and criticism of your opposition and focus on the word of God.

Nehemiah faced many adversities and enemies while rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Though every attack was aimed at Nehemiah, he was not shaken. He did not crumble or fall, because his foundation was built on the word of God.
