We do not have to fight the spiritual battles of this life alone. Jesus gave us the church and we have one another as the earthly body of Christ and we have Jesus as our head.

We are told to wear the WHOLE armor of god. Not just the piece we like. The first piece of armor is the "Belt of Truth." Note: all scripture is from the NASB95.
