I. The Wise men’s journey is one of TRUE FAITH.

There is a world of difference between “false faith” and “true faith.”

False Faith – My words are different from my actions, I live to impress others, I lift myself up and put others down.

True Faith – My words and actions match, I live to serve others, I live like I’m the same as everyone else.

A. True Faith always drives action.

B. True Faith says “go, even if you don’t know the destination.”

C. True Faith sometimes leads to opposition.

D. True Faith should always lead us to the feet of Jesus. God’s desire for our lives always involves FAITH.

II. The Wise men’s journey is one of WORSHIP.

What is Worship? – Seeing who God is, who we are and responding.

A. We were made to worship – it is our greatest purpose & fulfillment in life.

B. We Worship by exercising our faith.

C. We Worship through our actions.

D. We Worship through time with Jesus.

E . We Worship through giving.

Worship always involves SACRIFICE.

SACRIFICE is giving and it costs us. David said “No, I insist on buying it, for I cannot present burnt offerings to (worship) the LORD my God that have cost me nothing. 2 Samuel 24:24

III. The Wise man’s journey is one of CHANGE.

A. Change is something we all need.

B. Change drives action.

C. Change is not easy.

D. Change ALWAYS results when we have met with Jesus.

Application:

1. What actions in your life demonstrate your faith?

2. Does your worship cost you anything?

3. How is God changing you?
