Summary: Mary asked, "Who will roll away the stone?" Up against an impossible situation? Look! The Stone of impossibility is GONE!
Philippians
2:5-11
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Jesus is either
a Liar,
a Lunatic,
or LORD!!!
Someday the entire universe will agree the testimony of God that...
JESUS IS LORD!!!!!
“...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”(NIV)
How Do I Make Jesus Lord?
IF JESUS IS NOT
LORD OF ALL,
HE CANNOT BE
LORD AT ALL!
What if my marriage vows had gone something like this: "I, Johnny, take thee, Ronda, to be my wedded wife (with some exceptions), to have and to hold from this day forward (except on the trird Tuesday of every month when I plan to keep seeing my former girlfriend), for better for worse (as long as it doesn’t get too bad), for richer for poorer (as long as you stay employed), in sickness and in health (as long as you do not develop a long-term illness), to love and to cherish (as long as you do as I say), so long as we both shall live till death (or debt or divorce) do us part! How long do you think she’d keep me? Making Jesus Lord is like the commitment made in the marraige vows...only deeper!

“He was delivered over to death
for our sins
and was raised to life
for our justification.”
Who crucified Jesus?
Not the JEWS!
Not the ROMANS!
ME!
B = BELIEVE
that Jesus is your
ONLY hope
of having peace with God.
To “Believe” has little to do with what you think;
It has everything to do with what you do!
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
To be “Justified”
means that God makes me
Just as if I have never sinned!
Romans 5:6, 8
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly....
But God demonstrates
His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.
C = CONFESS
Jesus as LORD of Your Life!
The resurrection of Jesus is not just an afterthought; it is an intrical component in our salvation!
“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.”
Mary asked, "Who will roll away the stone? We can’t get to Jesus. It’s impossible! LOOK! the Stone, has been rolled away! Whatever you think will keep you from making Jesus Lord of your life has ALREADY been rolled away!
Make Jesus Lord NOW!!!
Pray this prayer...
“I ADMIT
that MY sin is the
real reason Jesus died and I’m sorry.
Please forgive me!
I BELIEVE
that Jesus is my
ONLY hope
of having peace with God
and I now give Him my life to control.
I CONFESS Jesus
as LORD of My Life!
I hold nothing back!
Amen!”
