Summary: What is complete freedom?

John 8:32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

We begin today our new series: I am free. Many times we wonder: How is it that bad things happen to good people? Why does it feel as if our life is much worse, after we have given our lives to Jesus? Why are the temptations now even greater? Well, satan hates you, because you have chosen Jesus and not him! Secondly, who will you attack, those who are for you or against you, in a war? You and I are in a spiritual war! The Word says: Epesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Now, the good news is that Jesus has come to give us victory, in spite of the storms in our life! You live on the earth, which means inside the camp of the enemy. Jesus has come to recruit you for Him. So you are like an secret agent in a foreign land. Jesus has given you special powers to defeat the enemy and to build around you a defensive shield, through which the darts of the enemy cannot pierce. It is as if you have an invisible force field all around you that nothing can go into. That is the Blood of Jesus Christ. You’re 007 secret mission is to set other captives free to join you in this battle. The word of God says in Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free. You are incredibly special to Him. He has put a supernatural calling upon your life. You are on this earth to catch fish for Jesus. Your work is to help the other travelers with you on this road. Your task is to bring the good news, to help the blind see, to set the captives free. Sometimes, the ones that needs the good news, the ones that are blind and the ones that needs to be set free is: Yourself! Now the question: Who is going to help me with this enormous task? The Holy Spirit! It all begins with a choice: Lord, help me. Step 1: You give your heart to Jesus. Step 2: I surrender my whole life, completely and totally to His guidance. You see: You have already received the Holy Spirit as gift, when you gave your heart to Jesus. BUT: He can only help to set you completely free, if you surrender your whole life and every small detail of it, completely to his guidance. He will help you on the road to deliverance, freedom and sanctification. He will help you to live in complete freedom!

Heavenly King, Lord God, You are Almighty and above every person and every planet. Lord, You are the Beginning and the End. You are the great “I am”. You are Jahwe! Lord, thank you for helping us to make the choice to live in complete dedication to You, from this moment onwards. Lord, we get so tired to fight. Sometimes we get so tired to use all the weapons, but it seems as if we keep on losing the fight Lord, sometimes we feel so hopeless against the attacks of the evil one, that we just want to through in the towel and get it over with. Thank you Lord, that You show us today: There is hope and solution. There is a path of victory! Thank you Jesus, that You love us so much that your have not left us alone on the earth. Thank you Father, for the precious gift of your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, Lord, I adopt You today as my best friend and my helper. Lord, I surrender every aspect of my life, totally and completely to You. Lord, anoint me for all that you have called me to be. Lord, circumcise my body, soul, heart, spirit and mind, so that I can be completely dedicated to You. I declare that today I open up my whole being to receive all your blessings according to Ephesians 1:3. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because I am united with Christ. Father God, let your will be done in my life and over all the declarations that I make in Jesus Name. Let it give You honor and glory. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, forever and ever. On earth as it is in Heaven. In the Name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ my Savior and King. Amen.
