Summary: Many times we go through life and stuff happens and we wonder, what's going on. In this series will see how it's not God that brings the problems but the enemy and how God gets us through it.

WHAT’S UP GOD! Part 2

Give blame, where blame belongs

Galatians 6:7-9 (NKJV) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Galatians 6:9 (Message) So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit.

As we saw last week, that as we go through life, we all seem to come to those WHAT’S UP GOD moments.

Time’s where it seems like our prayers don't get answers. Time’s when it seem That God is nowhere to be found. Are you there God? Do you see what I’m going through and what’s happening here?

It seems like during those times that our faith is really tested.

Sometimes we even think, is there really a God. Does he listen to little old me. And we want to scream out WHAT’S UP GOD!

We looked at King Hezekiah, that even as a good king that brought great religious reform to Judah, he got hit with a sickness and was going to die.

But we saw that as he turned to God, God was there and ready to heal him.

And it's the same with us. We need to not get caught up in Whats up God moments, thinking that God has some mysterious plan in this happening, but know who our enemy really is and fight him, through Christ.

1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

What the devil would like to do is to get people not to believe that there is a devil, but I want to tell you that there is and he's looking for those who will take his bait.

1 Peter 5:8 (AMP) Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [ in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

James 4:7 (NKJV) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

It is so important to know who your enemy is so we don't get hurt with friendly fire.

Revelation 12:9-12 (NKJV) So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Ephesians 6:11-14 (NKJV) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Many people that have had sickness or things of life come against them have made statements like, "WHAT UP GOD" Just like King Hezekiah. But Jesus answered this question so powerfully for us.

Luke 13:10-17 (NKJV) Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “ Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
