“There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world” (John 1: 6-9, King James Version [The testimony of John]).

Holy! Holy! Holy Word!,

John witnessed the Truth. If John 3:16, was not true, then, suffice it to say Genesis 1:1, was not true. And, if Genesis 1:1, was not true, then John 1:1,2, were not true: “For God so loved the world...”(John 3:16), was magnified in Genesis in the hearts of man “in the beginning” (Genesis 1:1, KJV) when, “God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1, KJV). “In the beginning”, also, a passage in the gospel according to St. John, placed the Word, “in the beginning” stating: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God” (1:1, KJV). John beared witness that “the same”, Christ Jesus, “was in the beginning with God” (John 1:2, KJV).

Now, we must understand it was God's will, not only to send His Son, Christ Jesus but to send John, the man who was sent to bear witness of the Word, the Light of man, here, on earth. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14, KJV [The witness of John]). Can I get a witness? It was far better for you to ponder, Why God sent the man John to witness His Son, here, on earth?, than to ponder whether John 3:16, was true, or not? The truth of John 3:16, is Christ Jesus, for without Christ Jesus, there was no John, the man who beared witness of him, so, God did not only give His only begotten Son to the world because He loved the world, he sent the man John to bear witness of the Truth, which is Christ Jesus, the Son of God.

Why did God send the man, John? Why did not God use any man? Why did God change earth by giving earth, Truth, which is Christ Jesus? The world could not save itself.

Beyond Genesis, chapter one, verse one (1:1) but still, “in the beginning”, corruption of the earth took place, in the Garden of Eden, when the lies of Satan, deceived Eve, to sin. There was nothing that man could do to change the course, he was on, except give up the life (the breath God breathed in him) that he was given by God and accept death, “for the wages of sin is death” and “death is the enemy”, for death rejected “eternal life”; it made eternal life non-existent. Most importantly, God changed the course man was on by giving the world His only begotten Son, who was with Him “in the beginning” to resurrect, thereby rejecting and nullifying death, so that the gift of eternal life became real in the lives of man; if, only you believe, then, the truth shall set you free. This was compelling evidence and proof of his love for the world.

Do you believe the same Word, with God, in the beginning, came to earth, was made flesh? “He came unto his own, and his own received him not” (John 1:11, KJV [The testimony of John]). This was why you doubted and said, “What if John 3:16, was not true?” And this was why you dwell in unbelief. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12, KJV [The testimony of John]).

God gave those believers, who received Christ Jesus, the power to become His sons. Does not Christ Jesus have eternal life, he whom resurrected? Therefore, those believers, who received Christ Jesus, who have the same power to become sons of God, have eternal life because Christ Jesus, resurrected, to eternal life. Henceforth, they, too, shall not perish. Amen.
