Text: Matt.3:3-17
Theme: A MAN SENT FROM GOD
Intro:
a.)As a Man of God we are the noblest (kagalang-galang) man on earth.
-In the Muslim countries, Christian given an office in the gov’t in the treasury offce.
-Bro. Clendenen and his Wife when they were in a cafeteria. ( desert)
b.)During election…..Pastors are used by the politicians.
c.)When Adam and Eve fall, God forfeited their opportunity to rule the earth, and Satan took it.
d.)But when Christ came, He took it back again.
e.)In order to take it back again, He need vessels.
-Are you that vessel?
f.)3 things to be considered again as a Man sent from GOD.

1.)(v5-7) WE ARE WILD BUT DIGNIFIED.
a.)Wild- in animals, they are not ordinary.
-In behavior they are extremely different.
b.)Dignify- means honor
c.)In our text (v.6,7) John the Baptist preach the gospel with boldness.
-preaching with out sermon outline.
-John the Baptist He knew He was chosen.
-John the Baptist He was led by the Holy Spirit.
d.)When we are filled with the Holy Spirit we are controlled not on our own ability but by the Spirit.
-During preaching time. ( although we prepared, but sometimes were change.)
- Praise and Worship ( sometimes slow songs became fast, vice versa)
e.)A message that can change life is much better than an outlined sermon.
-Bro. Clendenen style of His materials.
g.)Acts 2: During the Pentecost, after they were filled, what Peter did?
-He just tell the history…….
-V.14-21 The prophecy of Prophet Joel.
-V.22-36 Christ dead and He rose from the dead.
-V. 37 The respond of the people.
II.) (v.8,10) WE MUST HAVE A FRUITFUL LIFE.
a.)Our text.
b.)Christ is the Vine, We are the branches.
c.)The secret of having a fruitful life is ABIDING.
III.) (v.13-17) WE MUST BE A MAN OF OBEDIENCE.
a.)In our text (rephrase the content of conversation of Jesus and John the Baptist.)
b.)Our lesson in the soldier.
- Bro.Clendenen when He went in bootcamp.(12 weeks in training camp.)
c.) An obedient man is a kind of man who is disciplined.
- Our training here…….
d.) Serve Him without reservation.
e.) Understanding can wait but obedience can not.
CONCLUSION:
We are here for a purpose.
Are you willing to be the Man that God can use?
The choice is ours……
