VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Sins are forgiven and penalty for sins cancelled

"Now where there is absolute remission (forgiveness and cancellation of the penalty) of these [sins and lawbreaking],"

Hebrews 10:2 (Amplified Bible)

10:2 For if it were otherwise, would [these sacrifices] not have stopped being offered? Since the worshippers had once for all been cleansed, they would no longer have any guilt or consciousness of sin.

Sins, iniquities, guilt of sin and penalty required for sin are all cancelled. The word "remission" or "aphesis" in Greek means:

1. release from bondage or imprisonment

2. forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty

To illustrate, for example you're living beside a river, now for practical purposes, you have a boat, a swim suit, any tools needed to swim in the water, then suddenly the river dried up, then you no longer need these vehicles for water and your water suits and other tools for water.

Matthew 26:28 (Amplified Bible)

26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Acts 2:38 (Amplified Bible)

2:38 And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:7 (Amplified Bible)

1:7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor,

We are constantly reminded that our sins, iniquities, guilt of sin, and punishment required for sin are all forgiven and cancelled, thru the Holy Communion. This is a mnemonics (tool of remembrance) for all of us. The blood has already been poured out for you and me, and we can no longer reverse it, it happened 2000 years ago so our sins have all been forgiven. When people die without the LORD JESUS, they will go to hell, not because of their Adamic (sinful) nature, not because they are a sinner, but because they have rejected the GIFT of salvation.

Luke 17:25 (Amplified Bible)

17:25 But first He must suffer many things and be disapproved and repudiated and rejected by this age and generation.

Luke 20:17 (Amplified Bible)

20:17 But [Jesus] looked at them and said, What then is [the meaning of] this that is written: The [very] Stone which the builders rejected has become the chief Stone of the corner [Cornerstone]?

B. No need for offerings and sacrifices

"there is no longer any offering made to atone for sin"

Hebrews 10:14 (Amplified Bible)

10:14 For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy.

The phrased used was "no more" or "ouketi" in Greek meaning: no longer, no more, no further.

Hebrews 10:26 (Amplified Bible)

10:26 For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look forward].

Now every sin of man, committed are now their will, it's a freedom of choice, simply put, they choose to sin, temptations can no longer be blamed or ignorance of the Bible, it's not also an excuse. Man has voluntarily, willingly and of one's own accord, and do not be surprise, rejection of the LORD JESUS as LORD, MASTER and SAVIOR is already wilful sinning.
