Successful marriages understand the depth of differences between husbands and wives.

1 Corinthians 2:11a “For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him?” (NIV)

Differences bring balance to a marriage. God allows those differences in your marriage for growth.

Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created him." (NIV)

God has the characteristics of both male and female.

Understand the image of God is revealed in the marriage relationship.

Women communicate in feelings and men communicate in facts.

Proverbs 24:3 “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established;” (NIV)

When you are spirit filled you communicate in a way that you understand each other’s differences.

There is a spiritual connection between Husband and Wife, your relationship to your spouse is an act of obedience and worship.

Submit—means to “line up under” “to give in”
