Summary: How does guarding my heart set me free?

Proverbs 4:23 Above everything else guard your heart, because from it flow the springs of life

We begin today or deliverance process with emotional wounds. Emotional wounds is those things that have hurt you and are still hurting you. It can at times dictate your reactions or behavior. It is not always the case, sometimes something will happen that reminds you of a past hurt, and without intention or realizing it, this will spark a reaction from you. Sometimes this reaction might be so intense that it will leave people astounded. This is when we will stand in amazement and wonder: Where did that come from? Some of us live from our past, our experiences and the lessons we have learned about life. Sometimes we are so blinded by our own hurt that we make decisions from it or do tasks from it and it is not who we really are deep inside. If you have any of the following reactions, it means that you have emotional wounds.

Inner rawness: there's often a sense of inner rawness and hurt that doesn't seem to go away.

Irritability: it's easy to become irritable with others, even if they aren't doing anything wrong!

Little or no tolerance: there is a low tolerance issue with others, where you expect and demand from them.

Feelings always rising up: feelings of anger, hate, resentment, etc. seem to "rise up" within you at the slightest offense from others.

Overly sensitive about an event in your past: If there are events in your past which cause you to become very sensitive or angry, or even cause you to lash out, then it is likely revealing a deep emotional wound tied in with that event or memory.

Father God, without even realizing it, our hearts became like stone. We have built walls around us. We became bitter, we blame and we get hurt even more. Lord, without even realizing it, the roots of hurt has grown so deep inside of us, that it became part of our being. We are so used to fight for a place in the sun, that we walk over people. We are so caught up in the past, that it dictates our whole life. The evil destroys our future and those of generations to come, without we even realizing it. We think it is a part of life! Thank you Lord, for your precious gift! The Holy Spirit! Thank you Lord, that You lead us to be emotionally healed. Lord, today I declare and decree according to Ezekiel 36:26 that I give my heart and soul to You, Lord, so that You can give me a new heart and soul! Give me a soft heart, a heart of flesh. Take this heart of stone and rock, I do not want it any longer. Thank you Holy Spirit, that You help me to be fully healed on this journey with You. I trust You completely, with every tiny bit of hurt, from my creation until now. Lord, expose every one of them and help me to be fully healed. Father God, let your will be done in my life. Let it give You honor and glory. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, forever and ever. On earth as it is in Heaven. In the Name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ my Savior and King. Amen.
