Romans 11:33 "Oh, how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways (methods)!" (NLT)
Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." (NIV)
How impossible it is for us to understand God's decisions and methods!
Miracle of the Method:
1. God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things!
Jesus entrusted the Good News of salvation to a small band of uneducated followers!
Key: Our abilities are not as important as our attitude and availability!
2. God is at work in our lives in ways we cannot fully comprehend or understand!
Question: Is our life here earth complete heavenly bliss?
Key: We must choose to believe and trust that God is working in our lives for our good!
Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (NIV)
3. God uses unusual methods to accomplish His work in our individual lives!
Question: Will you go through the pain of life to see the beauty of God revealed?
Luke 2:19 "Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often." (NLT)
Key: God is at work weaving a beautiful tapestry that will one day be revealed for all to see!
