'GOD'S REQUIREMENT FOR OUR LIVES!'

Micah 6:8 (KJV) He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

If we want good things to happen, be and received in out lives God gives a plan and some requirements to open the doors and windows of heaven to us. In this outline we point some that will put you on the path of blessings.

I. He requires us to be be just and honest in our dealings of life.

Proverbs 21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

II. To not only be merciful but to love mercy.

Luke 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

III. To walk with the Lord and walk humbly.

A. We walk humbly when we give God all the honor and glory

. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1. "They that know God will be humble," John Flavel has said, ' and they that know themselves cannot be proud."

2. Remember be humble or you'll stumble.

I love the old hymn 'In the Garden'

I come to the garden alone,

While the dew is still on the roses,

And the voice I hear falling on my ear

The Son of God discloses.

Refrain:

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,

And He tells me I am His own;

And the joy we share as we tarry there,

None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice

Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,

And the melody that He gave to me

Within my heart is ringing.

I’d stay in the garden with Him,

Though the night around me be falling,

But He bids me go; through the voice of woe

His voice to me is calling.
