Summary: A warning not to ’neglect’ the Grace of Christ. Many have knowledge and a mental hope of salvation but spurn Christ in unbelief.

Hebrews 2:1-4 (NLT)

1 So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.

2 The message God delivered through angels has always proved true, and the people were punished for every violation of the law and every act of disobedience.

3 What makes us think that we can escape if we are indifferent to this great salvation that was announced by the Lord Jesus himself? It was passed on to us by those who heard him speak,

4 and God verified the message by signs and wonders and various miracles and by giving gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose to do so.

IS your salvation Great? Daily Worth - Daily Meaning

Loved by God, Forgiven, Accepted, Crucifiction, God’s Wrath is satisfied; Fellowship with GOD!

Romans 5:6-11

6 When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, no one is likely to die for a good person, though someone might be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s judgment. 10 For since we were restored to friendship with God by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by his life. 11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God—all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in making us friends of God.

GOSPEL is TRUTH is CHRIST! How can WE KNOW this greatness?

Verse 3 and 4 (all of Chapter 1 in Hebrews)

2 Peter 1:16-21 (NLT)

16 For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and his coming again. We have seen his majestic splendor with our own eyes.

17 And he received honor and glory from God the Father when God’s glorious, majestic voice called down from heaven, "This is my beloved Son; I am fully pleased with him."

18 We ourselves heard the voice when we were there with him on the holy mountain.

19 Because of that, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. Pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a light shining in a dark place—until the day Christ appears and his brilliant light shines in your hearts.

20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophets themselves

21 or because they wanted to prophesy. It was the Holy Spirit who moved the prophets to speak from God.
