What Does the Bible Say About Calling?

EPHESIANS 4:1-3

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

ROMANS 11:29

We are called, by the creator of the universe, to not only share a life with him but to display his love, grace and power to those around us. That is why we are called to live according to his standards. That as he lives in us, we might reflect him towards others.
