What Does the Bible Say About Fellowship?
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Community, fellowship, gatherings - whatever you call it the Word is clear - we are not called to do life alone. We were created to be in communion - first towards God and then towards others. In community, we learn, we grow, we change. In community, we find strength as we travel through a world that is not our home.
