Psalm 90:1-6, 10-12 (This is the oldest Psalm. Written in 1461 BC after the defeat at Hormah).

Numbers 14:39-45 “39- And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly. 40- And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we [be here], and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned. 41- And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper. 42- Go not up, for the LORD [is] not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. 43- For the Amalekites and the Canaanites [are] there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you. 44- But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp. 45- Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, [even] unto Hormah.”

“Number our days” – James 4:13-14 “13- Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14- Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on

the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

Psalm 90 and verse 3 “Thou turnest man [human race] to destruction [physical death; literally to dust]; and sayest, Return, ye children of men [sons of Adam].”

Genesis 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Genesis 3:19 “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.”

Psalm 22:15 “…thou hast brought me into the dust of death.”

Psalm 103:14 “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we [are] dust.”

Ecc. 3:20 “All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.”

Ecc. 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”

However Daniel 12:2 gives the promise of the resurrection: “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt.”

The Hebrew word translated “everlasting” in Psalm 90:2 is “Olam”.

John 5:24-29 “24- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25- Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26- For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27- And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28- Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29- And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

John 3:14-15 “14- And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15- And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:”
