Genuine Faith vs. Sincere Belief:
Faith in God instead of belief in something
Absolute truth instead of relative truth
Relationship with Jesus instead of religious ritual
Focuses on obedience instead of tradition
Genuine Faith…
…is tested and endures (v. 2-3)
…strengthens under pressure (v. 4)
…doesn’t change with the weather (v. 6)
…has confidence in Christ (v. 9-12)
…takes responsibility (v. 13-15)
…gives all the credit to God (v. 16-17)
…extends itself through others (v. 18)
